To cap your FPS in CS:GO, you gotta add '-fps_max [number]' to your launch options. Right-click CS:GO in your Steam library, go to properties, then set launch options and type it in there. Replace '[number]' with whatever FPS cap you want, like '-fps_max 60' if you're aiming for 60 FPS. It's a great way to keep your game running smoothly without letting your FPS go wild.

Just set '-fps_max 0' in launch options to unlock your FPS. But why cap it? Let it fly!

Did the '-fps_max' trick and it worked like a charm. My rig runs CS:GO super smooth now without overheating. Keeping it capped at 144 FPS for my monitor's sake.
