Honestly, why bother catching a Magikarp? Just wait till you snag a Gyarados, save the effort. Magikarps are everywhere, anyway.

Easiest Pokémon to catch, hands down. Just find water, throw your line in, and bam, you've got yourself a Magikarp. Might even get it on the first try if you're lucky!
