Good luck with Ditto hunting! Honestly, just wander around the grassy areas near the research stations. Dittos love to chill there. Quick Balls are your best friend here; chuck one as soon as the battle starts. Worked for me on the first try!

Catching Ditto in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is a bit of a treasure hunt, but totally worth it for your team! You'll mainly find Ditto hiding around the northern part of the map, especially near research centers. They're sneaky and can disguise themselves as other Pokémon, so keep an eye out for Pokémon that seem out of place or are acting weirdly. Use a quick ball at the start of the battle for an easy catch, or weaken them first but be careful not to knock them out!

Honestly, just use the Poke Radar. Ditto's not even that useful unless you're into breeding competitive Pokémon.
