How to change black bars to stretched in CS:GO

Easiest way? Dive into your graphics card settings. If you're using NVIDIA, open the NVIDIA Control Panel, head to 'Adjust desktop size and position,' then select 'Full-screen' under Scaling. Make sure to apply the changes and boom, you should see CS:GO stretched without those annoying black bars. AMD users, you've got a similar path: Right-click on your desktop, open AMD Radeon Settings, go to 'Display' then look for 'GPU Scaling' and switch it to 'Full Panel.' Restart CS:GO and enjoy the stretch!

Just play with black bars, guys. It's how the pros do it. Better focus and you'll get used to it, trust me.

Honestly, just tweaking your monitor settings could do the trick. No need to mess with graphics card settings if you're not comfortable. Look for an aspect ratio or scaling option directly on your monitor's menu. Switch it to 'Full' or 'Stretched' and the game might just fill up the screen the way you want. Worked for me on an older monitor!
