Changing your CS:GO config file is pretty straightforward, but remember to backup your current one just in case! First, you gotta locate the file, which is usually found in your Steam folder under '\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg'. The file you're looking for is 'config.cfg'. To edit, just right-click and open it with any text editor like Notepad. After you've made your changes, save the file, and you're good to go. Restart CS:GO to see the changes in action!

Just edit it with Notepad lol. But seriously, don't mess up your settings. Keep a backup.

Honestly, I wouldn't touch the config file. The default settings are there for a reason. Plus, you can change most things in-game.
