How to change your crosshair color to black in CS:GO

Changing your crosshair color to black in CS:GO isn't directly possible because there's no pure black color option available. But, you can make it look almost black by setting it to a very dark color. Here's a workaround: open the console (enable it from the game settings if you haven't) and type 'cl_crosshaircolor 5; cl_crosshaircolor_r 0; cl_crosshaircolor_g 0; cl_crosshaircolor_b 0'. This will get you as close to black as possible. Remember, it might still not be perfect due to certain map backgrounds.

Nah, you can't make it pure black, game doesn't allow it. Best bet is making it dark grey or something.

As someone who's tried tweaking crosshair colors a lot, truly black is a no-go. Best advice is to choose a dark shade that stands out against most backgrounds. Use the console commands to experiment with dark greys. Might not be black, but it helps with visibility against various map environments.
