Had the same issue last week! What worked for me was going into Windows sound settings outside the game and setting my headset as the default communication device. Then, CS:GO just used that automatically. Hope this helps!

lol, just plug in your mic before you start the game. CS:GO usually picks it up automatically.

Easy! Just go to the 'Settings' menu in CS:GO, click on the 'Audio' tab, and there you'll find the 'Audio Input Device' option. You can select your preferred device from the drop-down list. Make sure to hit 'Apply' to save your settings!
