I don't mess with config files. Default settings for life!

Actually, I think it's way cooler to use console commands in-game to tweak settings. You can change a lot without ever touching config files. Just hit the tilde key (~), and start with commands like 'sensitivity', 'cl_crosshairsize', and so on. Changes will apply immediately, and if you find the sweet spot, you can type 'host_writeconfig' in the console to save your current settings to the config file.

Changing your CS:GO config is pretty easy! First, locate your config file, which is usually in the 'cfg' folder within your CS:GO installation directory. The path typically looks like this: 'Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg'. Once you find it, you can open the config file with any text editor, like Notepad. Edit the settings according to your preferences, then save the file. Make sure to backup the original config file before making changes, so you can always revert back if needed.
