Changing your CS:GO crosshair via files is simpler than you think! Head over to your CS:GO directory, usually found in the Steam folder ('Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg'). Then, open (or create) your 'autoexec.cfg' file with a text editor. If you're creating it, make sure to add 'host_writeconfig' at the end to save your changes. In this file, you can define your crosshair settings using the various 'cl_crosshair' commands, like 'cl_crosshairsize', 'cl_crosshaircolor', etc. For a full list of commands and their explanations, Google is your best friend. After saving your tweaks, these settings will load automatically when you start CS:GO!

Just overwrite the default crosshair settings in your config file. Easy peasy.

Been tweaking crosshairs in files for ages. Tip: Backup your config file before you start. One wrong command and your game settings can go haywire. Learned that the hard way.

Honestly, messing with files sounds like a hassle. Why not use the in-game crosshair editor? It’s way easier to see changes in real-time.
