Hot take, but I honestly think sticking with the native resolution is best. Tweaks like changing resolution are overrated unless you're really trying to squeeze out every last FPS on a potato PC.

Changing your CS:GO resolution is super easy! Just open the game, go to Options > Video Settings, and you'll find the Resolution option. From there, just pick the one that fits your screen and gameplay preferences best. Remember, a lower resolution can boost FPS but might make the game look less sharp.
WidescreenWally
Quick tip: if you're playing on a widescreen but prefer the 4:3 stretched resolution for that bigger target look, you might need to tweak your graphics card settings too. For NVIDIA, go to the NVIDIA Control Panel > Adjust desktop size and position > Scaling and select 'Full-screen'. AMD users, head over to Radeon Settings > Display > GPU Scaling and enable it.
ConfigMaster
I switched my CS:GO resolution by editing the config file directly cause the in-game options didn't have the one I wanted. Just locate the config.cfg file in your CS:GO folder, open it with notepad, and find the lines for `ScreenWidth` and `ScreenHeight`. Change those values to your desired resolution, save, and voila! Make sure to set the file to read-only after, so the game doesn't change it back.
