You can also change it directly in the config file if the launch options method isn't your cup of tea. Find the config.cfg file in your CS:GO folder (usually in the 'csgo' folder within your Steamapps common directory). Open it with a text editor and add (or modify) the lines 'mat_setvideomode (width) (height) 0' - replace '(width)' and '(height)' with your desired resolution. Remember, always backup your config file before making changes!

Messing with config files? Risky business, just stick to in-game settings.

Easy peasy! Just right-click on CS:GO in your Steam library, go to 'Properties,' then click 'Set Launch Options.' Here, you can type in '-w (width) -h (height)' to set your desired resolution. For example, '-w 1920 -h 1080' for 1080p. Hit 'OK,' and you're set for the next time you launch the game!
