How to change CS:GO skins in files

Hey there! Changing skins in CS:GO files directly is a tricky business and not officially supported by Valve. Basically, you'd be messing around in the game's files, which can lead to a ban, especially if you hop into VAC-secured servers. If you're just aiming to flex in screenshots or videos, keep it offline. For changing skins legitimately, you're better off trading, buying, or getting them from drops in-game.

Don't do it, seriously. Valve's anti-cheat system (VAC) doesn't take kindly to file tampering. Best case, nothing happens. Worst case, goodbye account.

I tried changing skins in the files once, just for fun in a private match. It's not worth the headache. Plus, the constant fear of a VAC ban looming over your head? No thanks. Stick to getting skins the legit way: trades, marketplace, or drops. Much safer, and you get to show them off in all modes!
