Honestly, why bother? Just stick to one side. Playing with your dominant hand is best anyway.

I've been switching hands mid-game for ages, helps me get better angles and see the enemy easier sometimes. Just use the bind command 'bind x cl_righthand 0' in your console to switch to left hand, and swap the '0' to a '1' when you wanna go back. Super easy and it can really up your game!
