To change your main character’s element in Genshin Impact, you’ll need to unlock the Statues of The Seven in different regions. Each statue is tied to a specific element. By resonating with a statue, the Traveler (your main character) can switch to that element.
This means you can switch from Anemo (wind), the initial element, to Geo (earth) by interacting with the Statue of The Seven in Liyue, for example. As you explore new regions, you’ll unlock more elements to resonate with, making your Traveler more versatile in combat and exploration.
