How to change max ping in CS:GO

Super easy fix! Just open up your game console in CS:GO (you might need to enable it in the game settings first) and type 'mm_dedicated_search_maxping' followed by the maximum ping you want, e.g., 'mm_dedicated_search_maxping 50' for a max ping of 50ms. This should help match you with servers that give you lower ping!

From my experience, changing your max ping can really make or break your gameplay in CS:GO. Lower ping equals less lag and better reaction times. Just remember to set it to a realistic value or you might end up not finding any games.

tbh just play with whatever ping y'all get, it's not that deep. But if you really wanna, just do the 'mm_dedicated_search_maxping' command in the console and set it to whatever you feel like. Works like a charm.

Just a heads up, playing around with your max ping settings can significantly affect matchmaking times. Setting it too low might mean waiting a looong time for a game. So maybe find a happy medium?
