Honestly, most times it's your mic, not CS:GO. Make sure your mic is set as the default recording device in your computer's sound settings before you mess with the game settings. Worked for me!

Super easy! Just open CS:GO and hit 'Esc' to bring up the main menu. Then, go to 'Options' and click on 'Audio Settings'. There, you'll find a section for 'Microphone Setup'. You can select your mic from the drop-down menu and adjust the 'Microphone Volume' as needed. Don't forget to hit 'Apply' to save your changes!

lol just hit Shift+Tab to open the Steam Overlay while in-game, then go to 'Settings' > 'Voice' where you can change your mic. Quick and dirty fix if you ask me.
