Changing nicknames in Pokemon Violet is super easy and a great way to personalize your team! Just head over to any Pokemon Center in the game. Talk to the dude at the counter - he’s the Name Rater. He’ll let you change the nickname of any of your Pokemon, except for those you got through trades where the original trainer didn’t give it a nickname. Pick your Pokemon, type in the new name you want, and bam! You're all set with a newly nicknamed buddy.

Honestly, why bother? The original names are cool enough. But hey, if you want to change 'em, just hit up the Name Rater in any Pokemon Center.
