How to Change Party Pokemon in Scarlet
Best answer
GameMasterP
Easy peasy! Just hit X to bring up the main menu, then navigate to the 'Pokémon' option. From there, you can see your current party. Want to swap someone out? No problem! Just select the Pokémon you wanna switch, choose 'Swap Pokémon' and pick the one you want from your Boxes. Remember, you can't switch out if you're in battle or certain other situations.

You're making it sound more complicated than it is. Open menu, select Pokémon, swap. Done.

Honestly, it's super simple. Just open the menu, go to your Pokémon list, and swap them around. Don't overthink it, it's just a couple of button presses.

Protip: Keep a balanced team ready to go. You never know what type of opponent you'll run into next, so swapping out regularly can give you a strategic edge. Saved me more than once against tough Trainers.

I do it all the time to keep my team fresh. The UI's really straightforward, so you'll get the hang of it quickly. Swapped my team around before a big Gym battle, and it totally paid off. Just make sure your desired Pokémon isn't fainted; gotta heal them first at a Pokémon Center or with items.
