How to Change Player Model in CS:GO Console

Tried it once in a private server with friends, just messin' around, you know? Had to turn cheats on first with 'sv_cheats 1'. After that, it was 'ent_fire !self setmodel' and the model's name. Got myself to look like a chicken for a bit. Epic laughs, but yeah, don't try this in competitive unless you want a swift ban.

No can do, buddy. Changing player models through the console in CS:GO's official matchmaking is a no-go. It's all about keeping the play fair and balanced.

Changing your player model in CS:GO through the console isn't straightforward because you can't do it in competitive or official matchmaking games due to game integrity and fairness. However, if you're running your own server or playing on a custom server that allows it, you can use the 'sv_cheats 1' command to enable cheats and then 'ent_fire !self setmodel <model name>' to change your model. Remember, you need to know the model's exact name, and this only works in non-official games!
