Changing your Pokémon's name in Pokémon Violet is pretty easy! Just head to any Pokémon Center and look for the Name Rater, an NPC who specializes in renaming your Pokémon. Chat with them, and you can rename any of your Pokémon as long as it hasn't been traded to you. Remember, traded Pokémon names are locked in to preserve the original trainer's choices!

Just a heads up, you can only rename Pokémon you're the original trainer of. So, if you got a Pokémon through a trade, its name is set in stone. Choose wisely!
