Changing your resolution in CS:GO through the console is pretty straightforward. First, you need to enable the console from the game settings. Once that's done, hit the tilde key (~) to open it up during the game or at the main menu. Then, you type in 'mat_setvideomode [width] [height] 0' for fullscreen or 'mat_setvideomode [width] [height] 1' for windowed mode, where [width] and [height] are your desired resolution settings. So, if you're aiming for a 1920x1080 resolution, you'd type 'mat_setvideomode 1920 1080 0'. Remember, you need to restart the game for the changes to take effect!

Honestly, why bother with the console? Just set your resolution from the game's video settings. Much simpler and you avoid typing errors.

I tried the console method and it works like a charm! Just make sure to get your resolution right, or you'll be staring at a funky looking screen until you fix it.

Just use 'mat_setvideomode width height 0' in the console. Replace 'width' and 'height' with your desired resolution. Hit enter and you're done!
