I changed mine and it made a HUGE difference. Go to the console and type 'cl_crosshair_sniper_width' plus your desired thickness number. I went with 2 for that perfect balance. It's all about finding what works for you and sticking with it.

Honestly, just stick with the default. Sniper crosshair thickness won't really change your game that much. Focus on your aim!
