Oh, want to swap daylight for moonlight in Pokemon Violet? Easy peasy! Just mess around with your Nintendo Switch's system settings. Dive into the system settings, scroll your way to the 'System' tab, and there you'll find 'Date and Time.' Turn off the 'Synchronize Clock via Internet' option, and then manually change the time to night. Voila, you're now playing in the moonlight!

Actually, changing the time in-game isn't a thing. You gotta change the clock in your Switch settings. It's a bit of a workaround but hey, if it works, it works!

I tried doing this to catch some night-only Pokemon, and yeah, changing the Switch's system time is the way to go. Just don't forget to change it back after or your other games might get a bit wonky with time-based events.
