How to change the tick rate in CS:GO in-game

Changing the tick rate in CS:GO isn't something you can do in the middle of a game. If you're running a private server or a local game, you need to set the tick rate before the game starts. Do this by setting the command-line option '-tickrate [number]' in your CS:GO launch options. For example, '-tickrate 128' for a 128 tick server. Remember, you can only do this for games you host.

Actually, you can't change the tick rate mid-game in CS:GO. Gotta decide on that before starting your match. Set it up in your launch options with '-tickrate 64' or '-tickrate 128', depending on what you want!

Nope, changing the tick rate while playing isn't a thing. You need to set it up before the match starts, so choose wisely!
