Just hit X, go to Poké Portal, then Profile, and boom - Change Card. It's easy peasy.

Honestly, I barely change mine. The default one has grown on me, lol. But yeah, X button, Poké Portal, and follow the steps. Not that anyone really notices your icon unless you do battles or trades a lot.
