Changing the viewmodel in CS:GO is pretty simple! You just need to open the console (usually the `~` key) and type in the commands for viewmodel positioning. For example, 'viewmodel_offset_x 1' (without quotes) will change the position of your gun to the right. You can adjust the 'x', 'y', and 'z' values to move the viewmodel around till it's perfect for you. Remember, these changes might reset when you restart the game, so consider adding them to your autoexec.cfg file!

Honestly, just keep it default. Messing with viewmodel can throw off your game. CS:GO ain't broke, don't fix it.

Been tweaking my viewmodel settings for ages, and it's a game changer. Go into console, play with the viewmodel_offset_x, viewmodel_offset_y, and viewmodel_offset_z commands. Find what's comfortable for you. And if you're serious, look up some pro players' settings. Copying them at first is a good way to find what suits you best.
