Honestly, just keep it default. Messing with viewmodel can throw off your game. CS:GO ain't broke, don't fix it.

Been tweaking my viewmodel settings for ages, and it's a game changer. Go into console, play with the viewmodel_offset_x, viewmodel_offset_y, and viewmodel_offset_z commands.
