Easy peasy! Just right-click on CS:GO in your Steam library, go to 'Properties,' then set launch options. Type in '-w' followed by the width and '-h' followed by the height you want. For example, '-w 1920 -h 1080' for 1080p resolution. Restart the game, and voila, new resolution without even launching the game first!

Been there, done that! I had to switch resolutions without launching the game because my laptop freaks out on full screen. The launch options way works like a charm. Just make sure you type the numbers right or you'll end up staring at a wonky screen!

Nah, just play in whatever resolution it opens in. It's not like you're gonna notice the pixels when you're too busy getting headshots.
