Changing your team in Pokemon Violet is super easy! First, make sure you're not in the middle of a battle or any other action where you can't access the menu. Then, just hit X to bring up the main menu, select 'Pokémon' to see your current party, and choose the Pokémon you want to swap out. Press A on it, then choose 'Swap Pokémon'. Pick the one you want to add from your Boxes, and voila! New team member is in.
