How to change zoom to hold in CS:GO

Super easy fix here! Just open the console in CS:GO (you might need to enable it in the game settings first) and type in 'bind MOUSE2 +attack2'. This command makes your right-click a toggle for zooming with sniper rifles and scopes. But if you wanna switch to 'hold' instead of toggle, you gotta use a bit of a workaround. Try this: bind a key to '+zoom' and another one to '-zoom'. So, when you press the first key, it zooms in, and when you release the second key, it zooms out. Not a perfect system since CS:GO doesn't have a native 'hold to zoom' feature, but it gets the job done!

I switched to 'hold' for zoom by tweaking my mouse software instead of messing with the game. Set a macro so when I hold the right-click, it executes '+attack2', and when I release, it executes '-attack2'. Not exactly in-game solution, but it works like a charm if your mouse software supports macros.
