just type 'net_graph 1' in console.

Oh, wanna peek under the hood, huh? Easy peasy! Just hit up your console by pressing the tilde key (~), and then type 'net_graph 1' and hit enter. This command will show you a bunch of real-time stats on your screen, including your frequency and other goodies like your FPS and ping. If all those numbers cramp your style, just type 'net_graph 0' to hide them again.

Honestly, you don't need to check it that often. Knowing your FPS and ping is usually enough to gauge how smooth your game is running. But hey, to each their own!
