Honestly, most of the time the paint seed doesn't dramatically change the look of the skin. It's cool to know, but don't sweat it if you're not super into the minutiae.

Easiest way to check paint seed? Just inspect the weapon and hit 'More Info'. Seed's right there.

To check the paint seed of a weapon in CS:GO, you gotta go to your inventory, right-click on the weapon skin you're curious about, and select 'Inspect'. In the inspect view, look for the 'More Info' button on the right side - it's kinda tiny, so don't miss it. Click on that, and boom, you'll see the paint seed number listed among other details about your skin. Enjoy discovering those unique patterns!
