How to check ping before playing CS:GO

The most reliable way to check your ping before jumping into a CS:GO match is by using the built-in console command. Simply open the console (you might need to enable it first in the game settings), and type 'ping' followed by the IP address of the server you're interested in. Hit enter, and you'll see your ping to that server. Remember, lower ping means a smoother gameplay experience!

If you want a quick check without the hassle, just join a nearby server through the game's community server browser. Your ping will be displayed next to the server. Not perfect, but it gives you a rough idea!

Honestly, just start a match. The game's matchmaking does a decent job of finding a server with good ping for you anyway.
