To combine Calyrex and Spectrier in Pokémon Violet, you first need to have both Pokémon in your party. Then, navigate to your bag and select the Reins of Unity from the Key Items pocket. Use this item on Calyrex, and it will prompt you to choose Spectrier to combine with. Once combined, they will form a single powerful Pokémon known as Shadow Rider Calyrex. This transformation boosts Calyrex's stats and changes its appearance. Remember, you can also separate them later by using the Reins of Unity again!

I combined them once, thought it was cool for like 5 minutes, then split them up again. Their solo forms are way cooler to me, honestly.
