Literally google 'CS:GO SDK tutorial.' It's not rocket science, folks. The tools you need are right there in Steam. Follow a YouTube guide, and you'll be compiling in no time. No need to overcomplicate a simple process.

Compiling files into CS:GO, especially if we're talking about creating custom maps or mods, involves a few steps. First, you'll need to get your hands on the Valve Hammer Editor - that's the tool used for designing maps. Once you've crafted your masterpiece, the editor itself compiles the map into a format that CS:GO can read. Just make sure you've also got the Source SDK installed; without it, you're going nowhere fast. The best place to start is the CS:GO SDK, available through Steam under 'Tools' in your library if you own a copy of the game.

I tried compiling my own maps a while back. Let me tell ya, patience is key. The Valve Hammer Editor does most of the heavy lifting, but getting your map to work perfectly takes trial and error. Also, don't forget to test your map for bugs! Nothing worse than a map that crashes mid-game.
