Starting a 1v1 server in CS:GO is easier than you might think! First, you gotta open CS:GO and select 'Play' -> 'Play with Friends'. Set the game to 'Private Match' and choose the map. Once the lobby's set, invite your friend. After the map loads, open the console with `~` and type 'mp_limitteams 1; mp_autoteambalance 0; mp_roundtime 60; mp_roundtime_defuse 60; mp_maxmoney 60000; mp_startmoney 60000; mp_freezetime 0; mp_buytime 60; mp_buy_anywhere 1; bot_kick;'. This sets up the game rules for a fun 1v1. End with 'mp_restartgame 1' to apply settings. Remember, both players need to join the same team, and use the console command 'mp_warmup_end' to skip the warm-up. Happy dueling!

Too long, didn't read: Open CS:GO -> Play with Friends -> Private Match -> Invite friend -> Open console (`~`) -> Paste settings -> Both join same team -> Fight!

Honestly, just find a community 1v1 server. Way easier and you skip the setup hassle. Plus, you might even find a new rival.
