Just a heads up, not every piece of furniture is customizable. Learned that the hard way when I tried to give my entire kitchen a pink makeover. So before you go on a customization spree, make sure the item actually has the little paintbrush icon on it!

Customizing furniture in Animal Crossing is pretty simple but super fun! First, you'll need to unlock the Customization Workshop by talking to Tom Nook at Resident Services. He'll run you through a tutorial on how to customize your stuff. After that, get some customization kits from Nook's Cranny, select the piece of furniture you wanna jazz up in your inventory, and choose 'Customize.' Not all furniture can be customized, but a lot can, so have fun experimenting with different designs and colors!
