Just edit the launch options in Steam. Right-click CS:GO in your library, go to properties, and hit set launch options. Type in '-w XXXX -h YYYY' but replace XXXX and YYYY with your desired resolution numbers. Easiest way without fussing with your GPU settings!

Setting a custom resolution in CS:GO isn't as hard as it sounds! First, right-click on your desktop and go to 'NVIDIA Control Panel' or 'AMD Radeon Settings' depending on your GPU. Look for 'Display' -> 'Change resolution' -> 'Customize'. Here, you can create a new resolution. Make sure to test it! Then, launch CS:GO, go to 'Settings' -> 'Video Settings' and select your custom resolution. If it doesn't appear, you might need to add '-w [width] -h [height]' in the CS:GO launch options through Steam.

Honestly, messing with custom resolutions can mess up your game's look or performance. Stick to the presets, they're there for a reason.
