How to deal with high ping in CS:GO

First off, gotta make sure your internet isn't being hogged by other stuff. Streaming, downloads, or even someone else gaming on the same network can spike your ping. If you're on WiFi, try switching to a wired connection. Ethernet cables can make a huge difference. Also, play on servers close to your location. Finally, tweak your in-game settings - lower graphical settings can sometimes help reduce lag.

Had this nightmare myself. What worked for me was updating my router's firmware and setting a static IP for my gaming PC. Also, prioritize gaming traffic on your network. Some routers have a 'Gaming Mode' exactly for this.
