Defusing in CS2 is pretty straightforward but crucial! First, make sure you're on the Counter-Terrorist side because only CTs can defuse the bomb. Then, find the bomb (usually planted at either Bomb Site A or B), get close to it, and press your 'use' key (default 'E' on a keyboard). Stay alive and keep holding that button for about 10 seconds unless you've got a defuse kit, then it's just 5 seconds. Pro tip: Buy a defuse kit at the start of rounds for quicker defuses and listen for the bomb's beeping—it gets faster the closer it is to exploding.
