To delete a resident in Animal Crossing, you first gotta start the game and hit the '-' button on the Switch to bring up the settings menu. Talk to Tom Nook and choose the 'Save data settings' option. Then, select 'Delete Resident Registration' and boom, you can remove the unwanted villager. Just remember, once they're gone, they're gone for good along with their house and everything in it!
