Did this last week! Can confirm the steps are super simple. It was like saying goodbye to a bunch of pixelated pets. A fresh start was nice though!

Just to play devil's advocate here, but why delete your save? If it's about starting over, why not enjoy the journey again with your current roster? Seems like a waste to just wipe everything.
