Honestly, why would you want to delete your save file? Pokemon Violet is awesome, and starting over means saying bye to all that progress. I'd back up and think it through unless you're absolutely sure.

Easy peasy! Just boot up your Pokemon Violet game and head to the main menu. Don't start the game! Instead, press up + X + B on your controller simultaneously. This little combo will prompt you to delete your save file. Just be sure you really wanna say goodbye to your Poké pals before you do!
