NO, don't delete it! You'll regret it. Just make a new user on your Switch and start a new game. Trust me, you might want to come back to your original save at some point.

Deleting your save in Pokémon Scarlet is actually pretty easy, but it's like those hidden tricks they don't tell you directly! First, head to the Switch Home screen. Then, you've gotta press X to open the settings for Pokémon Scarlet. Choose 'Data Management', then 'Delete Save Data'. Remember, though, once it's gone, it's like releasing a Pokémon into the wild.
