I just bind a key to toggle chat off and on. You can do this by opening the console (enable it first in the game settings) and typing `bind "yourkey" "ignoremsg"`. Hit that key once to disable enemy chat, twice to mute all chat, and a third time to enable it all again. Super handy!

Honestly, just mute everyone at the start of the match. Hold down `Tab` to see the scoreboard, right-click to enable the mouse, then click on each player's name to mute them individually. It's a bit of work but gives you peace when you need it.

Super easy fix! Just hit `Esc` to bring up the main menu, then go to `Game Settings` > `Communication` and there should be an option to `Disable All Chat`. Just toggle that and say goodbye to distractions!
