Did it last week. Just uncheck the Steam Cloud option in the game properties. Took 2 seconds. Super straightforward.

Honestly, why would you wanna disable it? Steam Cloud is a life-saver. It keeps your settings safe, especially if you’re playing CS:GO on different PCs. Just sayin', think twice before you turn it off.

Easy peasy! Just launch your Steam client and head over to your game library. Right-click on CS:GO, select 'Properties,' then click on the 'Updates' tab. You'll see a checkbox that says 'Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for CS:GO.' Just uncheck that box, and you're golden! Remember, doing this means your game settings and progress won't sync across devices anymore.
