Disabling Xbox DVR in Windows 10 can boost your CS:GO performance! Just hit the Windows key, type 'Xbox', and open the app. Sign in, click the Settings gear, head to the Game DVR tab, and turn that sucker off. It's hogging your resources, and you don't need it slowing down your headshots!

Honestly, just uninstall the Xbox app. If you're not using it, it's just taking up space and potentially messing with your CS:GO gameplay. Less fluff, more frags!

Go directly into the registry if the app route doesn't work. But careful, it's the wild west in there. Navigate to 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore' and set the value of 'GameDVR_Enabled' to 0. Also, venture to 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\' and create a key named 'GameDVR'. Inside, make a DWORD 'AllowGameDVR' and set to 0. This should do the trick but remember, editing the registry can be risky, so proceed with caution or get a tech-savvy buddy to help out.
