Did the tutorial recently, and gotta say, it sets you up pretty nicely for what's to come. Teaches you the essentials and even gives you a taste of the different types of missions and activities. Plus, you get a nice little sum of in-game cash to start you off. Not too shabby for a newbie.

Just skip it, honestly. You can figure out most stuff on your go, and if you have friends who play, they'll help you out. The real fun in GTA Online isn't in doing tutorials; it's causing mayhem across the city!
