Quick tip: you don't actually 'download' maps in the traditional sense. Just subscribe to them in the Steam Workshop, and CS:GO takes care of the rest. EZ.

Downloading a map in CS:GO is super straightforward. Just boot up CS:GO, head to the 'Workshop' tab in the main menu, where you can browse or search for maps. When you find the one you want, click on it and hit the 'Subscribe' button. The game will automatically download and add it to your map list. Now, you're all set to play on your new map!

Honestly, I think the whole map downloading thing is overrated. Just play the classics and you're good. Dust II forever, baby.
