Honestly, just use Steam's in-game overlay to show FPS. It's easier and works in all games. Shift+Tab to access it, then settings > In-Game and check the 'In-game FPS counter'. Boom, done.

Just type 'cl_showfps 1' in the console. Bam! FPS on your screen.

To show your FPS in CS:GO, it's super easy. Just open the console by hitting the tilde key (~), and then type 'cl_showfps 1' and hit enter. This will display your FPS in the corner of your screen. If you want to get fancy and see more details about your performance, you can use 'net_graph 1' instead, which shows your FPS along with other network stats.
