Honestly, messing with configs is overrated. Just use the default settings; pros do it all the time.

Enabling a config in CS:GO is pretty straightforward. First, you need to create a .cfg file (if you haven't already) with your custom commands. Save this file in the cfg folder within the CS:GO installation directory (usually found under Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg).
